CONSTITUTION (UPDATED March 2025)
NOTICE OF ELECTIONS
- Elections are being held for the Retired Firefighters’ Association Queensland (Inc.) (RFFAQ) Management Committee
- The RFFAQ Management Committee will be comprised of 8 members in the following positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasures
- Ordinary Members (x 4)
- Nomination Forms can be downloaded from the RFFAQ Website or can be requested by contacting the association directly. A separate nomination form is required for each position.
- The RFFAQ constitution currently requires that your nomination must be endorsed by a Proposer and Seconder who are current financial members. If you are unable to find members to sign either section, please still send the form. The Association will assist with these sections.
- Nomination forms are to be returned to The Secretary, PO Box 1836, Sunnybank Hills QLD 4109 by the close of business on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
- If there are multiple nominations for a position, a ballot will be conducted from Friday, August 23rd, 2025, to Tuesday, September 9th, 2025.
- Results will be announced at the RFFAQ Annual General Meeting.
Venue: Club Southside
Date/Time: Tuesday, 16th September 2025, commencing at 10:00 am.
Those attending the AGM will receive a $20 gift card to pay for their lunch.
